FAQ

Orders & Shipping

Q1. How long does it take to process my order?
We ship from our meditation studio warehouse in China. Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Friday) and typically leave our warehouse within 24–72 hours. Once your parcel is scanned by the carrier, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Q2. Do you offer international shipping?
Yes. We currently offer worldwide shipping. All of our meditation cushions can be delivered to North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and most other regions.

Q3. How much is shipping?
We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. At checkout, you may see Standard or Priority shipping options, but Standard shipping has no additional cost.

Q4. How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on your country/region and local carrier performance. In most cases, parcels arrive within 7–30 business days after dispatch. Remote areas may take longer. Your tracking link will show the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Q5. Will I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?
Some countries/regions may charge customs duties, VAT, or other import fees upon arrival. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are not controlled by ZENSOULLAB. If you’re unsure, please check your local regulations before placing an order.

Q6. My tracking hasn’t updated—what should I do?
Tracking updates can take a few days, especially during peak seasons. If there has been no update for 5–7 business days, please email 2020thmy@gmail.com with your order number and we’ll help you check with the carrier.

Returns & Exchanges

Q7. What is your return policy for meditation cushions?
We understand that shopping for personal comfort items online can be tricky. For our main meditation cushion collection, you may return your item within 10 days of receiving it. Simply ship it back using any trackable shipping method. Once the item arrives and is inspected, we’ll refund the product price to your original payment method.

Q8. How do I return an item?
Please email 2020thmy@gmail.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return. We’ll confirm the return address and provide simple return instructions. Please pack the cushion carefully to prevent damage during transit.

Q9. Do you offer exchanges?
If you’d like to switch to a different color or model, the easiest method is:

  1. Return the original cushion.

  2. Place a new order for the item you want.
This helps ensure the color/style you prefer doesn’t sell out while the return is in transit.

Q10. When will I receive my refund?
After we receive your return, please allow 7–14 days for inspection and refund processing. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the funds to your account.

Q11. Are there any items that can’t be returned?
Cushions must be clean and in resellable condition (no stains, odors, or pet hair). If an item is one-of-a-kind or a special “vintage” product, the return window may be shorter. Any exceptions will be clearly stated on the product page.

Choosing the Right Meditation Cushion

Q12. Which ZENSOULLAB cushion should I choose?

T-Shaped Ergonomic Meditation Cushion (Buckwheat Hull Filling)
Best for:

  • Sitting cross-legged and wanting a higher seat

  • Prefering a traditional, adjustable feel with natural buckwheat hull filling

  • Needing extra space in front for knees and ankles

Unity Meditation Cushion (3D Elastic Support)
Best for:

  • Wanting an ergonomic 3D-contoured shape that supports hips, thighs, and knees

  • Often experiencing numbness or pressure on flatter cushions

  • Preferring a minimal, natural look for home or studio use

Ergonomic Floor Seat (Memory Foam)
Best for:

  • Wanting a chair-like seat with gentle side support

  • Sitting longer, or combining meditation with reading/journaling

  • Wanting something stable and grippy on the floor

If you’re still unsure, email us with your height, usual sitting posture, and any pain points (hips, knees, lower back), and we’ll recommend the best setup for you.

Q13. Are these cushions beginner-friendly?
Yes. All three cushions are designed with beginners in mind. They help your body find a naturally supported posture, so you’re less likely to feel discomfort early on. If you’re new to yoga or meditation, Unity or the Ergonomic Floor Seat are great options.

Q14. My knees are sensitive / my hips are tight. Which cushion is best?

  • If your knees get uncomfortable first, the T-shaped or Unity cushion can provide extra front space for the knees and calves.

  • If your hips and lower back feel tight, the Ergonomic Floor Seat offers the best back and side support.
You can also place a thin pad or folded blanket under your knees for extra cushioning.

Q15. What size or height cushion do I need?
All three designs fit most body types.

  • The T-shaped cushion provides the most lift.

  • Unity offers medium lift with 3D contouring.

  • The Ergonomic Floor Seat is lower and wider, supporting the whole seat and thighs.
If you’re tall or less flexible, starting with a higher seat (T-shaped or Unity) is often more comfortable.

Q16. Can I meditate without a cushion? Why use one?
You can meditate on a flat surface, but many people feel hip, knee, or lower-back discomfort after a few minutes. A good cushion lifts the pelvis, reduces joint strain, and helps the spine align naturally—so your body can relax and your attention can stay steady.

Materials & Care

Q17. What are your cushions filled with?

  • T-shaped cushion: Natural buckwheat hulls that gently contour to your body; adjustable by adding/removing hulls.

  • Unity cushion: A resilient support core with 3D shaping that springs back after use.

  • Ergonomic Floor Seat: A supportive foam core for stable, long-lasting comfort—more “sofa-like” on the floor.

Q18. Are the covers removable?
It depends on the model and batch. Some covers have hidden zippers; others are one-piece designs. Please check each product page description and photos. Even if the cover isn’t removable, gentle routine care can keep it clean.

Q19. How do I clean my cushion?

  • Shake it out regularly or vacuum with a soft brush attachment to remove dust.

  • Spot clean small stains with a damp cloth and mild soapy water, then air-dry completely.

  • Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, soaking the inner core, or high-heat drying.
For buckwheat cushions, do not wash the buckwheat hulls—clean the outer fabric only.

Q20. Will buckwheat hulls flatten over time?
Buckwheat hulls naturally settle and compress slightly with use. Many meditators like this because it molds to the body. If you later want more height or firmness, you can add extra hulls.

Q21. Are these materials safe for sensitive users?
Our cushions use common household fabrics and fillings suitable for everyday use. If you have specific allergies (for example, buckwheat or dust), we suggest choosing a foam-based cushion and keeping the cover clean—always follow your doctor’s advice.

Practice & Everyday Use

Q22. Can I use these cushions at home and in the office?
Yes. All cushions are designed to fit naturally into home, studio, and office spaces. Many customers keep one in a quiet living-room corner and another near the desk for short relaxation breaks during the workday.

Q23. How long should I sit on the cushion each day?
There’s no strict rule. Start with 5–10 minutes, once or twice a day. As your body and mind adapt, slowly increase to 15–30 minutes or longer. Consistency matters more than perfection.

Q24. Can I use the cushion for yoga, breathing exercises, or reading?
Absolutely. Our cushions are great for breathwork, gentle stretching, journaling, reading on the floor, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea—any time you want to sit comfortably closer to the ground.

Q25. Are these cushions suitable for children?
Older children and teenagers can usually use them comfortably with adult supervision. For very young children, treat the cushions like other home items—don’t allow jumping from height, rough play, or opening the inner filling.

Q26. I’m new to meditation—do you offer guidance?
Yes. On our website, you’ll find blog articles and daily meditation sessions with simple, science-informed techniques: how to start, how to breathe, and how to build a light, enjoyable practice. You can also subscribe to our email list for short, soothing practice tips.
